Plumtree Labradors is located in Hampshire Illinois, an hour west of Chicago.  We have been breeding dual purpose labradors that are healthy, sound, with good temperment, large boned and blocky heads, since 1990.  Our puppies are capable of competing in conformation, obedience, field trials, hunting tests or agility.  They also make wonderful family companions.  We are a small hobby kennel, breeding 3-4 litters a year. 

Our breeding stock are OFA certified hips, elbows, cardiac and CERF eyes annually.  Our puppies are family raised and socialized.  Puppy commands are started at 5 weeks.  All puppies are vet check, wormed and dewclaws are removed.  First shots are given at 7 weeks.  We sell our puppies with an AKC Limited Registration unless other arrangements are made.  Puppies are placed with their new families at eight weeks of age or older.
